Gianyar Hotels Area

Gianyar is a small bustling administrative center of Gianyar Regency. Gianyar is located about 33 kilometers or about one hours drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport. Gianyar is also a center for native Balinese weaving and has several jeweler's shops selling traditional gold jeweler's. In Gianyar town, there is a palace, Puri Gianyar, built in 19th century. Puri Gianyar is one of the few traditional Balinese palaces still in existence and one of the only ones still lived in by a royal family. Puri Gianyar spacious courtyards are decorated with beautiful examples of stonework and carved wood pillars.
